TIPS ON HOW TO IDENTIFY FAKE GOSPEL

In this era of churches and ministers of the gospel springing up on daily basis, the need to be extra careful not to fall into wrong hands cannot be overemphasized. Knowing fully well also that the prophecy of our Lord Jesus Christ is already coming to pass.

Mark 13:22, “For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.”

Unfortunately, there are more of these fake churches and pastors than the original. Every Christian must take heed. Below are some tips on how to identify fake gospel;
1. They preach to excite their audience.

2 Timothy 4:3-4, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

2. They preach prosperity, love, grace, miracles but they water down righteousness, hell fire, judgement, Christian trials etc.

3. Their life is in variance with the gospel. By their fruits you shall know them.

4. They lay more emphasis on the G.O, Founder and Leader than Christ.

5. They hate fasting, evangelism, deep bible study, etc but love prophetic declarations, motivational speeches, anointing services etc.

6. They lay more emphasis on earthly things than heaven. They make you relevant here on earth but make you heavenly useless.

7. Sinners are comfortable in their churches with no sense of repentance.

8. Scarcity of fruit of the spirit.

9. They have more political activities than spiritual activities. Political activities like picnic, seminar, love feast, fund raising etc.

10. They arrange fake miracles, false testimonies, fake prophecies etc.

How to identify fake miracles, testimonies and prophecies requires a Christian to be constantly in tune with the Holy spirit.

Beware of fake gospel because the end is at hand.
