We have more people who profess to be Christians today than those who practice true Christianity. People who can give great talk on faith but who have no faith.
2 Timothy 3:5 “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
We have more wolves in sheep clothing. More Pharisees than disciples. They are more of pretenders than worshippers. They are great brethren, deacons and elders in church but terrible husbands at home, uncomely staff at work etc.
They are great preachers in church but they are wife-beaters at home.
Good vocalists in church but fornicators in the neighborhood.
They have godly and religious faces but mischievous hearts.
People who speak in tongues but ruthless in heart and deeds.
They teach others to be good but possess questionable characters.
People who hold high profile positions in church but are rapists and homosexuals.
They are more of talkers than doers.
People who seek for the head of sinners but hide behind secret sins.
They condemn fornicators but masturbate in their closet.
Their disposition looks religious but their hearts are sepulchers filled with dead bones.
They love the goodies of Christianity but avoid the sacrifices.
They know people’s weaknesses but don’t know theirs.
Are you a practical Christian or a theoretical Christian?
