ANIMAL FARM IN THE CHURCH

ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS. Men may not be equal in status but they are all equal in creation, death and judgment. We may have different burial rites due to our status in the society and man’s making, but our lives hereafter is a question of our individual relationship with the Creator of heaven and the earth.

Deuteronomy 10:17, “For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

We may differ in sizes and stature but we are the same in spirit and soul. The soul of a rich man is not better than the soul of a poor man. The soul of a white man is not better than the soul of a black man. Your status and achievement on earth has nothing to do with your status hereafter. If you are rich and die a sinner, you will go to hell; if you are poor and you die a sinner, you will equally go to hell.

God is not a respecter of a person. Act 10:34, “God only respect those who respect His word regardless of their status.”

ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS is the language of men. Mr. Rich man in Luke 16 was highly respecter amongst men because of his wealth but Mr. Lazarus was grossly disdained because of his poverty. But the scenario changed when they got to the other side of life. More honour was given to the poor than the rich. The denominator is not your earthly status but your personal relationship with your Maker.

Don’t bother about those who deny you your rights and privileges on the earth because you are a nobody, heaven will compensate you hereafter. Some animals are more equal than others among men but all animals are equal before God. The inequalities on earth will eventually get balanced up in heaven. All men will stand before God naked on the Day of Judgment where there will be no preferential treatment or favoritism.

Proverbs 22:2, “The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the Maker of them all.”

All men shall be rewarded according to their work and deeds on the earth.

They may look down on you because you are not rich.

They may look down on you because you are not popular.

They may look down on your because you are not educated.

They may look down on you because you are not beautiful.

They may look down on you because you are not influential.

They may look down on you because of your race or colour.

They may look down on you because you are not from a royal clan.

They may look down on your because you are not married.

Just hold on to God who will one day make all men equal and reward people based on their works.
