The reason why your pastor’s armpits are always exposed is because their hands are always lifted in prayers for the people. Moses hands were lifted so that the people can continue to win the battle against their enemies. At no instance was Moses permitted to let his hands down, lest the enemies prevailed.
Aaron and Hur were also mandated to continue holding Moses’ hands up.
Exodus 17:11-13, “As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand, the Israelites had the advantage. But whenever he dropped his hand, the Amalekites gained the advantage. Moses’ arms soon became so tired he could no longer hold them up. So Aaron and Hur found a stone for him to sit on. Then they stood on each side of Moses, holding up his hands. So his hands held steady until sunset. As a result, Joshua overwhelmed the army of Amalek in battle.”
Today we have a lot of Christians who are supposed to be lifters of their pastor’s hands but are rather choosing to smell his armpits while pretending to lift his hands. If you smell your pastor’s armpits you are bound to perceive offensive odours. Your Pastor’s armpits are mostly unkempt for the fact that both of his hands are lifted up in prayers for his people so that they will continue to win the battles against their lives.
Most pastors spend all their times praying for their members and other peoples problems without having time to pray for themselves.
It is therefore unfair to be smelling your pastor’s armpits when you are meant to lift his hands. The hands he would rather use to clean up his armpits are always lifted; if he drops them, the enemies will prevail. It is therefore the responsibility of Aaron and Hur of today to help their Moses in cleaning or covering his smelling armpits. Don’t mock your pastor if his armpits smells, don’t continue to look at his armpits or smells his armpits when you are suppose to be lifting his heavy hands up.
The heavy hands of your pastor are his challenges arising from standing in the gap for you. His smelling armpits are problems he could not attend to because he was busy attending to yours. His anointing and grace can heal the sick but can’t clean up his armpits. His anointing will do signs and wonders but the sweat from his primary assignment of lifting up his hands will make his armpits smell. His smelling armpits may be his personal weaknesses to which he is not able to give attention to because his hands must be lifted up at all times. No man is complete in all things, anointing does not remove weaknesses; if it does, Moses wouldn’t miss the Promised Land because of anger.
You must help your pastor to succeed because your success is divinely tied to his success. If his hands are continually lifted up it is to your advantage as that will amount to continuous victory for you. If you discourage him and he put down his hands to clean up his armpits, it is a minus for you as that will make your enemies prevail on you. Aaron and Hur stood by Moses all through the battle ensuring the continuous lifting of his hands; they did not smell his armpits.
Concentrate on lifting your pastor’s hands in prayer, encouragement, support, love, visit, constructive suggestions, unity etc.
Mariam smelled Moses armpits by speaking against him and she became a leper and a liability to Israel. If you don’t want to become a liability stop smelling your pastor’s armpits
Be a hand lifter, stop being an armpit smeller
